Dry Shampoo Recipe:

When you don't have enough
water, but want to clean your
hair, make Dry Shampoo.

Homemade Dry Shampoo Recipe

1/4 cup Cornstarch

1 Tablespoon Baking Soda

Put both ingredients together in a shaker bottle, and shake bottle vigorously. Shake about a half teaspoon or more, at a time, onto your hand. Rub your hands together to spread it around your hands and fingers. Pat the areas of your head you want to shampoo with your hands. Tousle your hair around, as you rub in the dry shampoo. If you see any spots of dry shampoo, brush it out with a brush. That's all. You're done.

Another method would be to apply the dry shampoo at the roots of the hair by shaking it on the roots. Use a brush or a comb and separate sections of your hair, shaking the powder onto your scalp. Massage it into the surrounding hair and let it sit for approximately two minutes–just enough time to absorb the oil in your hair. Then brush the dry shampoo through your hair until it is no longer visible.
