Based on product reviews, we chose this muzzle. Also, it is our opinion, that a one piece muzzle is safer than an adjustable size muzzle. Most of the adjustable size muzzles have Velcro around the snout piece that can open up to adjust the size. There might be a possibility that the dog can open up this piece with its paws or pressing its snout against something to pull it apart. We only use this very short term temporary when we cut our dogs toenails.
