Absolutely the best loaf pan I have ever owned. This will last forever. It is heavy duty stainless steel. It can cook a double recipe such as cornbread. I had a very difficult time searching for this pan in the particular size that I own, but I finally found it on Amazon. It took me a good three hours to find it. I even called the Vollrath company about it. It is identified as a steam table pan rather than a loaf pan. However, I use it as a loaf pan. It is wonderful. I have and will be using this exclusively for many years to come. I has replaced my aluminum loaf pans and my Pyrex and Fire King glass loaf pans. This stainless steel pan is unbreakable. Because it is a stainless steel steam table pan, it is more heavy duty than a stainless steel loaf pan. This type of a pan is used in restaurants and for commercial use so it has to be heavy duty. I just love it, and make my cornbread in it, sometimes doubling the recipe.
