I recommend this step stool because I have it. I had a box truck and I got into the driver's side very easily with it. Since the truck was high once I got in, I couldn't reach the step stool to pick it up and take it with me. I attached a long cord to the step stool that I held in my hand as I was getting into the truck, so that I could pull the step stool up into the truck to bring with me, once I was in the driver's seat. I have been using this step stool for a number of  years without having any problems with it.

I noticed on the purchase website that I am directing you to, there are a number of step stools that look exactly like this one and may be cheaper. If you read their reviews you will notice that those step stools are of poor quality and the buyers had problems with them breaking. That could be a real safety hazard. In my opinion and because of using this step stool myself, I consider it to be of better quality.
