I can't praise this pan enough. I bought a few of them in 2006 for my ducks and dogs. As I write this, it is 2019. They are still in excellent condition. When I had my ducks, I fed them food and water in these. These pans remained outside year round, in extremely hot and extremely cold winter weather, and stayed in excellent condition. The water used to freeze in these pans in the winter, and I would break the ice in the pans, to get the ice out, and put more water in. Breaking the ice in the pans did not affect the condition of the pans. They remained in excellent condition. Sometimes I would take the pan, flip it over and smash it on the ground to get the ice out. Again, the pan held up to abuse without a problem.

 

I have used the same pans that I had fed my ducks with years before, for my dogs and cats for water and for food, and for all of the 13 years they are still in excellent condition. One of the pans, my dog chewed around the edges quite a lot, but it didn't matter. The pan is just bumpy with no perforations, and I am still feeding my dog food and water with it. These are so excellent, heavy duty pans. Once you buy them, unless you need more, you may never need to replace them for many many years. And they are very easy to clean with any cleaner, like Dawn, dish detergent, soap, or sometimes, just rinse them out with water.

I am still using the pans for my dogs and cats, and plan on using the same ones, for many years to come.
