I have purchased this blanket for a full-size bed, and have been using it for 6 years as of 2020. It is excellent. It keeps me nice and warm, even on the lowest setting. I usually find after the bed gets warmed up, I can shut it off and stay warm enough for the whole night. (The highest setting I have ever used was the third setting.) 

I am also able to keep my thermostat on low, which saves me a lot of money on heating oil.

This electric blanket is placed over my sheet. Over the electric blanket, I have a quilted blanket resting on it, and over all of this, I also have my Guide Gear 30 below zero sleeping bag opened up like a comforter, on top of everything. So, first is my sheet, second is the electric blanket, third is my quilted blanket, and fourth is my Guide Gear 30 below zero sleeping bag. 

Because I have these other blankets on top of the electric blanket, all the heat that the electric blanket created when it was turned on, is maintained in the bed throughout the night, keeping the bed warm, even though I shut it off a few hours before.

If I plan to keep it on while I am sleeping, the lowest setting will keep me warm enough all night long.
