70% Isopropyl Alcohol First Aid Antiseptic
For external use only.
Effective agent for cleaning minor cuts, abrasions and burns.
Used for rubbing, bathing, and massaging.
Relieves muscular aches.
For topical application only.
For certain applications, alcohol may be used at full strength or diluted.
Alcohol can also be used for cleaning porcelain in the bathroom, for cleaning the bathroom sink, tub, toilet seat, and the exterior of the toilet.
It can also be used for cleaning bathroom tiles.
Alcohol is a germicide, so it can kill the influenza virus.
Don’t mix rubbing alcohol with bleach. It creates chloroform, which emits toxic and corrosive fumes. Inhaling it can damage the central nervous system, liver, and kidneys; irritate the skin, lungs, and eyes; cause nausea and dizziness.
Don’t use rubbing alcohol near flames or smoking areas. It is highly flammable.
Don’t use rubbing alcohol in an unventilated area. It creates harmful fumes.
Do not use alcohol on 1. Finished surfaces: painted, shellacked, lacquered, or varnished surfaces, treated wood. 2. Certain fabrics such as synthetic materials like acetate, rayon, wool, and silk.
When using alcohol as a disinfectant, don't dilute it.
Don’t use alcohol on certain wounds or skin conditions. It can cause serious damage. Avoid using it to clean wounds or other more serious injuries. It can delay healing and lead to even more skin irritation.
Don't use alcohol on sunburned, dry, or irritated skin.
Don’t ingest it. It is toxic.
